Donner Summit Official Snowfall Released
The Central Sierra Snow Lab has released it’s official snowfall total for this year. It’s 53 – 1/2 feet! That’s a lot of snow! However, believe it or not, it is not the record for the largest total snowfall. The greatest total snowfall was in the mid-1930s.
But a record has been made with the snow depth as of June 7th at 7.8 feet –the deepest ever on this date.
